Project target groups | Local population from partner municipalities, 27,058 population of Lipkovo (30,294 according the statistical calculations for 2018) and 34,904 population of Preševo (38,004 according the statistical calculations for 2018). Target group will obtain better environment and better accessibility to remote rural areas and institutional set-up of solid waste collection. Local administration and public utility representatives from each municipality will participate on the educational and other events i.e. Institutions (employees from each municipality, CSO’s representatives that are working on the environment issues and providing service for awareness raising, regional and national authorities |

Project intervention logic | Overall-Objective: Enhanced capacities for management hazards, protection of environment, pollution of soil, water and improvement of living standards of the population in the targeted cross-border area. Specific Objectives: 1. Increased capacities for managing manmade risks and hazards related to solid waste disposal and protection of the environment; 2. Improved capacities and institutional approach for better services related to organized waste collection, awareness raising of the citizens on the consequences regarding pollution and mitigation of infectious diseases. |
