Citizens’ skills were improved in waste sorting, regular disposal, reduction of illegal dumpsites, and overall waste volume. The project also strengthened utility companies’ capacities for proper waste management and risk reduction.
- 151 illegal dumpsites were mapped, 76 of which were cleared.
- Two “green oases” were created through greening activities.
- Approximately 1,400 people from partner municipalities received training through six awareness campaigns and were informed about project results.
- Partner companies enhanced their knowledge through a study visit to a recycling center in Slovenia.
- Households and municipalities received 944 waste containers: underground containers for urban areas and bins for households.
