The gathering will be addressed by Mihajilo Dasic, Assistant Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, Hajrie Ahmed from the Sector for the European Union of the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia and Marko Jovanovic, Assistant Minister of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, Sector for Contracting and Financing EU Funds (CFCU). After introductory speeches, a short presentation of projects from this Program is planned.
The Serbia-Northern Macedonia Cross-Border Cooperation Program is one of eight cross-border and transnational cooperation programs implemented in our country with neighboring countries and coordinated by the Ministry of European Integration. The second call for cross-border cooperation with Northern Macedonia was opened on March 10 this year, and the deadline for submitting projects is June 8, 2022. The funds allocated for this call amount to almost 1.9 million euros, and the main priorities of the call are employment promotion, labour mobility, and cross-border social and cultural inclusion as well as the promotion of tourism and cultural and natural heritage.
