The European Union offers a wide range of opportunities to Serbian citizens, institutions, companies and organisations – from financial assistance to free travel and exchange of experiences.
This is the main message of the EU Opportunities Week – a unique series of events that will take place from 21 to 26 June in Belgrade (MTS Hall), Niš (Hotel “Tami”) and Novi Sad (Novi Sad Fair). The Opportunities Week is organised in partnership by the EU Delegation to Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Over the five days, more than 120 information sessions and panels will be held, and interested parties will be able to learn how to apply for EU programmes, projects and funds. Numerous opportunities will be presented for entrepreneurs, business people, farmers, students, pupils, teachers, innovators, institutions, local governments, media, citizens’ associations and other organisations.
We look forward to seeing you live at the event in three cities, while interested parties will be able to follow all events online, as well as ask questions and receive answers in real time on the website https://eumogucnosti.rs/
Numerous speakers will analyse topics in the field of economics and provide specific information regarding funds from various areas such as business, innovation, education, culture and other segments of cooperation.

“The European Union is founded on the values of human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights, and this is the foundation that allows individuals to prosper and businesses to grow, both individually and collectively. While Serbia is on its way to becoming a member state, the European Union is already opening up many opportunities for Serbia, its citizens and its economy through a visa-free regime, a very open and favourable trade and investment environment, as well as through many financial programmes and projects. Serbia is a country of hard-working and creative people and businesses, and the EU is helping them to realise their potential. These opportunities are leading to numerous success stories in Serbia and we are proud to be part of the development of a more prosperous society and a better Europe,” says EU Ambassador to Serbia, Emmanuelle Gioffre.
“The Week of Opportunities is the crowning achievement of the long-standing partnership between Serbia and the European Union. During the five-day intensive program, citizens of Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad will be able to learn more specifically about how and under what conditions they can participate in the numerous EU programs and projects open to Serbia. It is about providing citizens with the opportunity to present their good ideas for new jobs, training, improving the environment in which they
live, and to receive support for them. These are the real benefits of European integration, their impact on the quality of our everyday lives,” says Minister for European Integration Tanja Miščević. A detailed agenda will be published soon on the website https://eumogucnosti.rs/
